BORHEE Launches Cell Sorting Magnetic Rack Solutions

Shenzhen BORHEE Technology Co., Ltd. has launched a series of cell sorting magnetic racks (magnetic separation racks) that enable highly efficient separation of cell sorting beads. These sorting racks were developed for the separation of human and animal cells. The sample to be sorted (e.g. cells) is first labeled with superparamagnetic nanobeads, and the ferromagnetic spheres in the separation column amplify the applied magnetic field 10,000-fold, generating a high-gradient magnetic field. As the cell suspension passes through the high-field channel of the manual sorting rack, unlabeled cells flow through while magnetically labeled cells are retained in the column. After removing the column from the magnetic field, the retained cells are manually eluted. Both labeled and unlabeled fractions can be collected for downstream applications such as cell culture and flow cytometry.
