Product Introduction:
The 48-well universal plate magnetic separation rack (Magnetic Separation Rack) launched by Shenzhen BORHEE Technology Development Co., Ltd. is dedicated to automated nucleic acid purification systems and achieves highly efficient separation of all types of magnetic beads. Place a 48-well round-well plate on the rack and the magnetic separation process is completed in just 1 minute on average, enabling rapid separation and purification of cells, proteins, nucleic acids and other substances. The 48-well rack fits the 48-well round-well plate exactly, making your separation process more efficient. This rack has been widely used on automated nucleic acid purification instruments such as Tecan and Hamilton.
Technical Parameters:
Compatible with most 48-well round-well plates on the market.
The product consists of 7 elongated custom-made magnets with a protrusion height of 15 mm.
Optimal working volume: 1-2000 µL.
Magnetic beads are attracted to the upper side of the bottom of the 48-well deep-well plate.
Recommended 48-well plates: this rack is compatible with most 48-well plates on the market; JET or Bio-Rad 48-well plates are recommended.
Operation:
1. Place the centrifuge tube containing the incubated mixture of magnetic beads and target substance on the magnetic rack.
2. Wait 1 minute until the beads are attracted to the upper side of the bottom of the 48-well plate.
3. Aspirate and discard the liquid with the automated liquid-handling system.
4. The robotic arm removes the 48-well plate from the rack and returns it to a standard 96-well plate holder, completing the magnetic separation.
